The thesis deals with development of collective investment in Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia. Author divides the work into four main chapters. The first chapter deals with theoretical knowledge on collective investment schemes. The second part divides the development of collective investment into two parts to pre-crisis and crisis periods. In each of these periods then examines the values of the indicators for collective investment in individual states. The third chapter compares the calculated values among all countries. At the end of the thesis were included chapters a discussion and a conclusion that summarizes the results of the work.

Real property in general is a popular investment target. However, such investments need not necessarily take a direct form, as there are options for indirect investment available in today's environment - one of which is investing by way of collective investment funds. The particular appeal of this form of investment lies in the numerous advantages which it offers to investors, and which would not be available to them individually; for the potential founders of collective investment funds, the attractiveness of collective investment schemes stems from the tax benefits associated with them. Over the past few years, legislation in the Czech Republic in the area of collective investment, in spite of its relatively short history, has been developing briskly, and it is interesting to observe how Czech laws in this field are still in flux. Profitability of investment certificates are compared each another and also they are compared with profitability of selected collective investment funds. Collective Investment and Collective Investment Funds in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis, called Collective Investment and Collective Investment Funds in the Czech Republic, offers to its readers a complex introduction to collective investments issues. It focuses on legal environment in Czech Republic, typology of subjects entering the collective investments, its characteristics and its comparison, based on relevant mathematical means. In practical part, the reader is offered an analysis of tens of funds. Funds are compared between themselves and in terms of their return, risk rate and expensiveness. Thus, the thesis submits a coherent insight into the issues of collective investment in Czech Republic, both from theoretical and practical point of view.
Implementation of MiFID in the Czech legislation and practice of capital market

Aim of this work is to specify the EU direction DIRECTIVE 2004/39/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 21 April 2004 on markets in financial instruments amending Council Directives 85/611/EEC and 93/6/EEC and Directive 2000/12/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 93/22/EEC focusing on its impact on Czech legal system and changes in practice of capital market. In my thesis, I will define jurisdiction of the direction in my thesis, describe particular changes in the law of entrepreneurship in capital market no. 256/2006 and summarize some of the impacts upon Czech capital market.
